Competency Certificates
Members are demonstrating their new knowledge and skills, and are presented with a Certificate of Competency.

To achieve a Competency Certificate you will need to know how to do some basic skills on your electronic device. We will  work with you to achieve these skills.

Some of the skills are

  • Logging in to your online accounts
  • Connecting to wi-fi and putting in a password
  • Making and receiving phone calls and texts
  • Adding, editing and deleting contacts
  • Installing apps from Play Store and using them effectively
  • Using video conferencing such as Zoom
  • Demonstrating basic security and online safety
  • Using online banking and shopping.

Certificates are usually awarded during the monthly liaison meeting.
